October 21, 2006 marked a significant day in Greene County Habitat for Humanity's history.  Board members, homeowners with their families and Kar Penter  "The Friendly Builder" shared a wonderful time during a picnic at the Hardin Park.

Homeowners had the opportunityto personally meet Brad Willett, current Board President and his wife Sue, Bill Riley, Board Secretary and his wife Lynne, Lilly Gonzalez, Office Manager/Bookkeeper and Habitat's friendly character, Kar Penter, known as "The Friendly Builder."  Fun, music, food, a chilly day, balls, ballons, and kites made this day a success as new ideas and challenges were expressed by some homeowners.  Thank you, homeowners for making this day a great one.  We hope that in our next event we can see all of you that could not make it out to this one.
